You're invited to a holiday party and asked to bring a festive dish to add to the buffet table? No problem-- I've got you covered with an elegant and tasty deconstructed salad that works equally as well in a casual environment or for a more formal meal.

On a serving tray, place one large plate, on medium plate and a small bowl. On the larger plate, place a wedge of blue cheese (after eating a lot of blue cheese, in a lot of cities around the world, I still think Maytag is the best) and a handful of shelled walnuts. On the medium plate, pile several pears, sliced. And, in the bowl, pour in your favorite honey. Encourage guests to combine the ingredients to make their own bite. This works great as a side dish or as an appetizer.
