honey. oh honey.

12 September 2011
My husband recently spent a few days in Racha, the most economically challenged region in the Republic of Georgia. While there, he was presented with a generous gift for our family-- an entire honey comb tray and a huge jar of truly THE most amazing honey I have ever tasted. My kids loved examining the comb and trying to figure out how bees could make each space identical in size and shape. We all are enjoying taking tiny pieces of honeycomb and chewing on a natural piece of candy. And, I loved, and continue to love, the craftsmanship of the tray itself. Stay tuned and in the next couple of days I'll show you how I'm using the tray now that the comb and honey has been removed.

In the meantime, I'm off to add a spoon full of honey to my cup of tea...

Wow! I don't even know what I'd do with an entire honey comb!
