by the way.

In case anyone is keeping tabs on my mindset, here's the story today. We're still living in our new, very empty, 'partially' (which is a generous statement to say the least) furnished home, awaiting the arrival of our household goods shipment. I am now thoroughly convinced that our stuff is somewhere at the bottom of the Black Sea.  It's been 9 weeks, 4 days and some odd hours since it left Bangkok. Sigh.

For now, a hydranga from our yard has found a nice home in a former pasta sauce jar, sitting atop our wobbly makeshift kitchen table.

Oh no! I'm sure your stuff will be there soon!

I'm thinking of you and hoping your things are dry (and are delivered soon)!

Nah, it will get there. It's just a bureaucratic snafu. Of course, it's not my stuff, so I can be confident about it. Let us know when it arrives!!

I agree with the above comment. It will get there, but I'm not the one waiting for it! Hope you have some furniture and aren't sitting on the floor while you wait!
